Here's how you can pimp your myspace blog to get more people to check you out continuously...

If you post relevant content to your myspace blog, and add niche-related friends to your friends list…make sure you also visit your new friend’s blog, and click ‘Invite to My Blog’ underneath their pic.

If they subscribe, then myspace will notify them on their home page whenever you make a blog post.

All I know is that my blog posts to my subscribers pull in more traffic than corny old bulletins.

Hey Brandon, just dropped in - first time on your site. Good article. Like you said, order of placing the "inner circle" may be different with different artists... I've often found that what the artist needs more than anything is the booking agent. Live gigs are the most profitable area for any artist, and having an agent on board that is going to push you to get more paying gigs more often is of critical importance. If the artist is on top of his game, he can fill in those gaps that a manager would generally fill for a while. My two cents... :o)

Hope to hear from you more soon!

-Matt

I really enjoyed this articles. As a musician you sometimes forget that traditional business skills and things still apply to you. I can't wait to read even more of your articles in the future. Great Blog Man!
